Always great food. The employees are perfect. Its always clean and ready to go . Food comes hot. . Always too busy. But that's what happens when the food is good

Not what I would call authentic...food. bland no spice. Very nice waiter and prompt service but man that was some food to have to make up for.

As always meals come out hot and tasty. I recommend.

Friendly! We were greeted with a show of missing my wife and me because we have not been in lately. The food is very good.

Great steak fajitas! We also had a great server! Everything was fresh and tasted great! Our server was attentive the whole time! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the floors were SUPER sticky. That grosses me out a little bit.

We just had our first takeout tonight! Delicious!! And ready exactly when it was supposed to be. I was so sad to only see 1 other person there to pick up his order. I am hoping there were others that were getting some of their delicious food delivered or something during this trying time. Help support our local small businesses and restaurants if you can. We certainly want them to be around for us after all of this virus stuff is over. Thanks, El Monterey!

Good authentic Mexican food, reminded me of places I ate at in New Mexico. Very friendly servers and reasonably priced

Food is excellent, waiters are great. Would like to have extra salsa on table so you don't have to wait for someone to ask you if you want more.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful this restaurant is! My husband and I have been coming for years. We take all of our out of town family and they absolutely rave about it even after they have left! Best tacos in all of central MO, hands down. I have tried them from all around. Highly recommend to everyone!

Really good food with average service.

Ate here last night & everything was delicious! I got a tropical margarita & it was by far the best marg I’ve had. Food came out quickly & was amazing! Wait staff was amazing!

Good food and quick service

Bad. Failed to get a simple to go order correct and sent me home with someone elses food.Service was poor. Food was wrong and everything from chips to random entree was tasteless.

$.99 hardshell tacos on Tuesday were oh so filling and the salsa had a lot of flavor. Wait staff did not act like it was a problem at all that I ordered water and cheap tacos. Fun to spend more on a tip than dinner. Pork was tasty alternative to other places in town. Clean; I like that. No language barrier. Maybe I'll see you there next Tuesday?

Had a great time having dinner with my love and family. The building is pretty new and is in great shape. The restaurant is clean and everyone is very friendly. They usually expect people to get up and pay at the register, but I'm a old fashioned about places that have wait staff that get tips and our waiter was accommodating and took the check up for me. On top of that the service he provided was great. I can remember his name, but a young hip white gentleman. He was fun and knowledgeable about the menu, but I stumped him on their beer selection, which is no surprise because it is huge and they have seasonal offerings.

Worst service ever! My friend wanted to eat here. We waited over 15 minutes to be seated and then another 15 to order despite the fact that the place would've been empty if it hadn't been for the party of four seated at the table next to us. Never going back!

Great Food Love taco tuesday

I went with a few coworkers for lunch. There was a blond hair in the salsa and a live tic in my water. I shared my concerns with the waiter and he did nothing but play with the hair in front of us without gloves on. When I shared what happened with the manager, he snatched my food out of my hand and said if you aren't paying then you don't need the food. I never said that I didn't want to pay, I just wanted to share what happened. My colleagues and I will not be returning.

Great food was the first time there staff was great

I ordered fajitas which were absolutely delicious! However the sopapilla I ordered was incredibly overcooked and more than half of it wasn’t even edible.

Place was clean and services was great food not so good.

From out of town an stopped for dinner. Fausto was rude, asked for our drinks an made like the hurry up with his fingers. Brought drinks. My husband had margarita an never got another drink, he never asked. Handed us our bill an we were still eating. That's just rude. Tacos were eh hard shells taste like out of the box an the chicken tasted bland no seasoning. Didnt even know where to pay. Needless to say we wont be back.

Absolutely WORST customer service. We had the red haired waitress and she never came to check on us. We had to flag down other staff when we were lucky enough for them to walk by. We ordered cheese dip, in which they forgot and ended up bringing it as our food arrived 40 mins later so we didn't eat it, but was still charged for it! I brought this up when I went to pay the bill and they didn't offer to take it off. Will not be returning, which is sad because the food is great.

Easy to get in and out. Plenty of seating and really fast. Food is great and Margaritas the best.

The salsa was to mild and the hot salsa has just hot but no flavor. Give the flaver of the mild but the hot of the hot.

As I am writing this, I'm sitting at the bar waiting for my food to be cooked, a full 45 MINUTES after ordering ahead online. Absolutely ridiculous. I would have phoned in my order, but after calling numerous times with no answer, my only option was to order online. We HAD plans tonight, but obviously it would have been faster to take a seat and eat here. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Edit to add- I asked for a manager, was told he is on vacation to Mexico. I asked for his number, was laughed at. I asked another waiter who gave it to me. I'll be calling

I really enjoy this restaurant. The employees are really helpful and work well in assisting fellow co-workers. The food is authentic and prompt! Very satisfied with the overall experience!!

The food is really good and the portion sizes are really generous. It has reasonable prices and the staff is really friendly. We would definitely recommend it to others!

Walked in. Ordered quick. Enjoyed the chips and salsa. Then sat for an hour while our food never showed up. Decided it was time to leave. No manager made any effort to apologize. It turned out our order never made it to the kitchen. Oops. No manager apologized. No attempt was made to make it right. We Will never go back.
